Description
This is my half of another art trade with .Story time can certainly be magical! I got to choose the story, so naturally, it had to be a take on The Last Unicorn. The only thing more odd than Sentret and Vulpix's dream itself is the crazy crossovers found in here. In any case, I had fun with this one!

Yeah, it was a lot of fun! His characters are so bright and cute that I thought the somewhat dark story of TLU would make an interesting contrast

I wish I could favorite this ten-thousand times. This needs to be featured in something. Or you gotta submit this to some kind of club. It's so pretty and the colors lovely. Oh man my pic is going to seem sparse in comparison. I like how everyone's in character, too. Sentret sees gold, and that's all it takes to make me chuckle to myself like an idiot.
Between this and Step It (Up?), you really capture the spirit of the series well, with all the additional Kirby and Mother references. It's just important to remember that the Pokemon here don't live in a vacuum or their own pocket universe (no, they live in the Alternate Uni--*slap'd*), and you absolutely get that. Though I do wonder what Nago and Chuchu did to get plushies in their likeness. Only help take down Zero, I guess.
Ugh, now I gotta go play the "3" games again, Dream Land 3 (I'm getting there, via Dream Collection) and Mother 3 (for the first time in English, at that). I also need to read this book... Don't look at me like that.

Hah, I actually wanted you to see it before I submitted it anywhere. It was drawn for you after all! But I'm so glad you like it! Hearing you geek out about your characters makes me giggle XD Yeah... perhaps I went a bit overboard. I just got the idea, ran with it, and it was turning out so beautiful that I couldn't stop! Don't you even say that your half won't be magnificent! Even your simplistic stuff puts a smile on my face.
But your characters... they are just so much fun to draw. And adding other references in there just makes it even more entertaining. If you haven't read The Last Unicorn, then I assume you have at least seen the movie? The book is a good read for sure, but the movie is very close, even down to much of the dialogue being exact.

Thanks! And yeah, I adored the movie as a child even though it was dark and I was afraid of everything evil in it. Seriously! Even the king was scary XD I finally read the book as an adult, and it's even darker! What an awesome story!
