Description I tried to capture my feelings on how we as humans have become lazy in the pursuit of knowledge and evolution. I tried to portray how we recieve information now as opposed to how we used to back when reading was popular. We feel as if we're learning something new when really, we are losing the ability to think for ourselves.

Sketched in pencil at 18 by 24 inches and then digitally painted in photoshop by Adesso tablet.

If you choose to use this image for anything please give credit. thanks

Wonderful subject, and I couldn't agree more.
I stopped watching TV(cept for a show or two like Death Note), mainly because I couldn't stand being in the same room with my step family for long periods of time.

Now when I try watching it again... I just start to get bored, there's little point.
I understand watching a little news is okay... But Common people, go outside and see the world for yourselves instead of through a blaring screen.

Absolutly amazeing. And i also agree with you. With all this technology now adays mankind is quite lazy. You've heard the saying 'a little work never killed anyone?' well unlike work lazyness will kill us. *Finishes reading chinese foturne cookie* And your lucky number is 7, 13 and 21. ((Sorry that last part i couldent resist))

Amazing concept, and this really captures the idea in a sort of haunting yet awakening way. I love it.

I like the way the stronger looking ones are sort of struggling, while the one is just chill, as though he's accepted it, and has become disgracefully fat and glutted on what he's taken in.
Really interesting picture to look at, your work's very impressive.

I really like this one too. I love the image itself, but I also agree with the message behing it. Technology is like drugs, we started with little, radios and TV's, and now every thing is being filled with all kinds of fancy technology.

Great work. I share your feelings on the subject. I suppose that on the same train on thoughts you could say that the way we receive information now is making us slaves instead that empowering us and make us free.
