Description
This piece was started digitally at 8:00 am this morning and finished at 10:16 pm. This is the first time that I started and finished a piece with only bathroom and food breaks.I do not recomend it for the weak of heart
This piece is actually dedicated and for Kris of explosm. I told him I would return the favor for him exposing me to so many people.
This piece is meant to represent the calmness that water brings us and that it has the ability to crush us with it's power. Without water, we do not exist, and this is also my way of showing appreciation for this nonliving entity.

I love this artwork
It's been my background since it was posted
And now
I will get a tattoo of it
Because it is awesome
And instills a feeling of awe and wonder in me
Be it that our artist doesn't see it as infringement

You should put up a desktop shot of it as well as a pic if you happen to get the ink done. I would love to see it

Love what you did with the arms and how they actually imply the muscular form of them. And the crazy hexagon lookin' shapes are sweet.

Thank you for the compliments. The human form is something that I have spent most of my artistic life in perfecting, but it may take me another 30 years to fully conquer all of it's beauty and capture it properly. thank you again

Uber cool.
Some reason, it reminds of a Lego dude. Detached arms & head? Doesn't that scream Lego dudes putting together/taken apart? No? Just. Me. Guys?
Dang it.

Lol I would vote more on the crash test dummies toys. Remember those? you press the button on their chest and all of their limbs fly off ha.

For this piece I did the initial sketches in pencil on some crappy sketch pad paper, shaded in portions to give me a base idea, scanned into photoshop and all painted by adesso graphics pen tablet. I use custom brushes from Daarken (check him out through google) to achieve some of the textures, and elephant skin for the cerebrus head highlights. Hope that helps.

How does that answer a question about art? Tell those type of people to go get some social skills. Any questions anyone has I will try to answer to the best of my ability.

I think it might break DeviantART if you got all of the comments, favorites, and pageviews you (and this piece especially) deserve.
The smoky, watery effects are extremely well-executed. There is such great harmony and balance, complimented by the symmetry of certain parts (like the tentacles). The "man" dissolving into the water adds to the overall harmony of the piece, as well.
I wish I saw more stuff like this on DA everyday!

Thank you for the kind words. I'm really happy with this piece because I just started learning color theory literally 2 years ago. I'm naturally lost with color harmonies but I'm picking it up ever so slowly.
