Geniuses of the world take things sweet and innocent, and turn them creepy--that's why we love them ^^ (*cough* Tim Burton, *cough) I absolutely love your unique style, and yes, though there are those who can always make us smile for real, the idea that someone would go to such lengths to "cheer us up" that they force a fake smile on us is unsettling.

First of all, if that is your handwriting, I am enthralled.
Second, I definitely get in on the creepiness of forced-smiling... Reminiscent not only of awkward "cheer-up" social traditions, but of, if I may, The Joker.
I like the exaggeration of the smile in the drawing, how it's not even close to a regular lip-widening anymore. Also, the fact that the forcer isn't actually smiling, and perhaps does not have a mouth at all (not sure how to interpret the lines of the face, exactly, though I like that I'm not).
As always, loving your creepy, unsettling, dear-to-my-heart artwork. Please don't ever stop, sir.

Inspiration is a funny thing, as I do similar processes (but I keep them out of my DevinatART)
Taking the silliness or cuteness of another Item, and giving it a new light from color, tones or any other way you've figured out is always a fun challenge and I believe you should keep at it!

Love it. You can see the panic on the victims face. Amazing amount of emotion and lack of interest in the same picture. They contrast each other so well. The smilemaker looks professional and that makes it all the more creepy. Absolutely amazing. The atmosphere doesn't feel forced at all in this pic. This seems more like an illustrated fact. Absolutely love it.

Oh wow, the picture in the upper right corner is done by me few years ago. I know I cant prove it right now, but I could when I get back home in about a month and take a real picture of it.
