My entry for the Splice Create-A-Creature Contest, because why not. Monsters and freaky critter mash-ups are sort of my bread and butter, ya know? Like heck I'm not giving it a go.This fella here is a splice-up (?) of a fruit bat, a ring-tailed lemur and an octopus. I don't know what you'd call something like that, so I just call him Carl. Carl would be happy to relieve you of any unwanted mangoes or papaya you might have sitting around. Though really, any fruit will do. He's not picky.

I imagine he'd be extremely acrobatic, swinging and fluttering through the jungle in search of fruit!

Aw look at this cute little travesty of nature. Look at his little tentacle arms and little freaky octopus eyeballs awwwww he is adorable.

I can't believe I left it till the last minute myself, but I'm glad I at least got it done. He didn't turn out too shabby!
Outside of the tail and head he's pretty much got the skin of an octopus, ewww I'm not sure I'd want to cuddle something like that. I'll stick to cats.
