Edit: I'm not quite as angry about this anymore.Yes, I know it's not nearly as bad as I'm making it out to be, but I still don't think it's "amazing" like everyone's saying. "Amazing" would've been what I wanted it to be like. This is just "good;" nothing more, nothing less. If you guys like it, that's great. I don't.

I'm just going to flat out say it: I hate this drawing. I hate it so much.
I worked on this thing for over a month, trying to fine tune things, get the shading right, try out different backgrounds and shading techniques and whatever I could think of, but at this point, I just can't be bothered to work on it anymore. This piece has frustrated me to no end, and I just want it to be done.
There's no background cause I got too frustrated after so many failed attempts to make one that's actually good.
This drawing's trash, I hate it, but I'm posting it anyway just because I put so much into it, I may as well show what I managed to do.
It's crap like this that makes me feel like a failure.

Yo sheandog, I know what you're talking about. Sometimes you have an idea for a drawing, work hours on it and in the end it's just not what you had in mind (though it might be good anyway). So you start hating the drawing just because it's not what you wanted it to be.
I personally like this drawing, but that's due to your artstyle, I really like, and because I really admire you for your talent. (ok, and Dashie is my favourite pony ^^)
