I absolutely LOVE the new movie Avatar. Y'all've seen it. If you haven't, you're missing out on the best movie ever made, animation-wise or plot-wise. It's way intense, man. I love it<3I'd been wanting to draw a portrait of someone ever since my portrait of Shia LaBeouf was stolen last year. I found a good reference picture of Jake and simply /had/ to draw him.
This is what came out. Funnily enough, I took a picture of it to get it on my computer because my scanner doesn't work anymore--and it looks much better, much less grainy than it otherwise would have. I'm happily surprised.

aaaaww thanks |D the proportions took forever to get. I outlined everything before I started shading to make sure i got it right, but as usual I had to reposition the right eye again after I had already darkened it quite a bit.

Dayumn lady, this is really nice. I like especially how you got the stripes on him to have that sheen to them like in the movie without losing their shape. That's hard as hell to do. The perspective seems well done too, you can definitely tell his chin is much further out than his neck and such. Good jorb. <3
