To be honest, I don't think there's such a thing as a "true fan" or "number one fan", to me, it makes me feel like I'm not a good enough fan of a certain fandom or so, it makes me feel rather guilty if that makes any sense, and most of all: I think it makes others feel like shit that you're putting yourself above them, of if you're a creator of a certain fanbase, choosing a certain person and calling them your "Number one fan", I personally think that would make the other fans feel like absolute shit.Sorry for the bad wording or so, I'm pretty bad at explaining things.

AGREE! If you focus more on being a "true fan" instead of just being a fan of whatever it is you are of, then you're not really a fan, just trying to be better than everyone. Everyone is a equal fan in their own way. They have their own taste and opinions and views on whatever it is they are a fan of, get over it.Β

Fucking same. "Poser" pisses me off, too. Like you don't have to have a certain amount of knowledge or memorize trivia about something to be a "fan" of it. Especially with music, if someone is a new fan or just doesn't know every single album and song name, that doesn't make them any less of a fan. The only thing that you need to be in order to be a fan, is someone that enjoys that specific thing. Getting fucking possessive over bands or anything else is fucking pathetic and childish.Β
