WARNING: RANT AHEAD!i've nearly gotten spanked by my dad TONS OF TIMES, and i asked him one time: "what does spanking solve?" and he said "it doesn't' solve anything but it'll give you a reason to be pissed at me."..........WHAT A STUPID ASS ANSWER!
look, too anyone who had a parent who spanked them before: WHAT DOES SPANKING SOLVE ANYWAY?! what do you accomplish? because in the end after you spank them, they're just gonna run off crying to their rooms, sure it teaches them a lesson, BUT IT HURTS THEM BOTH PHYSICALLY AND EMOTIONALLY! HURTING YOUR CHILD LIKE THAT DOES NOT SOLVE SHIT, IT WILL PROBABLY ONLY MAKE THINGS WORSE.
i would never spank a child, and if i had kids of my own, i wouldn't spank them, i would just tell them what they're doing isn't right is wrong, if i were to give them a warning that i would spank them: I WOULDN'T ACTUALLY DO IT, ITS JUST A DAMN WARNING!
in all honesty, i think spanking is just an excuse to let the parent let their anger out on their child.

I was abused when I was a kid, it was more than just spankings, it was literal beatings that left me bruised and traumatized. For what, you might ask? He would beat me just for not focusing in school. I HAVE SEVERE ADHD. My parents NEVER took that as a sign that I'm mentally ill, but of course, they ridiculed and abused me for it.Β
Bottom line here, don't fucking hit your child out of anger. You have to be calm if you are spanking them, and don't just wallop them so hard that you hit bone, that's what my dad did, he didn't it with a fucking BELT, it hurt so bad I could hardly ever sit down. What was also humiliating was that I had to take off my pants to get spanked. WTF? Freak much?Β
I'm not a pro-spanking person. But if you are going to do it for a good reason, like they hit someone at school or whatever, then don't use an object, I beg you. Use your hand. Kids draw on the wall because they see it as a blank canvas to practice on. It's actually how some kids become artists, drawing on stuff at a young age and having an interest for it as you get older. Now, it depends on what they used. Crayon? Not too bad, it can be washed off. Expo/colored markers? Worse, but not too bad, can be washed off I think. Permanent sharpie? Yeah, that's bad.Β

abuse. If you do it when they do something bad, that's training. If someone speeds, you
give them a ticket (You should at least). If they continue to speed, the tickets get more

that way. If a person kills another person, you don't just say, "It's okay. We forgive you.

I completely agree, most kids these days don't listen to anyone. I had this boy break my friends bunnies leg, his mom didn't care and litterally all she did to him was say "Don't do it again."
