Description

The Pharaoh Uprising (also Mummy or Undead Uprising) in Egypt showed that the dramatically changes in this new world were far from over and that mankind was neither safe nor alone, nor the dominant force on their world anymore. Social unrest, religious and political insecurity together with Revolts and Rebellions in Russia, China, parts of India, Africa and Europe therefore lead to the 1917 Ceasefire of Oslo in Norway, that de-facto ended the Great War (War to End all Wars). It agreed to the return of occupied Central Powers and Entente territory to their former owners, the repatriation of prisoners, and the diplomatic recognition of some new nations and realities. I most parts the Ceasefire and the Peace that would follow would be kind of a White Peace that was grimly accepted by all powers without any great territorial changes and adjustments for any side. Because Norway was neural but suffered from the war at sea on it's transports and life-lines it offered to bring the diplomatic feelers of the Central Powers and the Entente together in the autumn of 1917 in it's capital Oslo. The diplomats of the two alliances arrived by boat in Oslo and debated for weeks. The ceasefire was signed in Akershus Fortress on the morning of Winter Solstice, bringing an end to three horrible years of bloodshed.

ARTICLE ONE: Hostilities on land, sea, and air will cease within six hours of signature.

ARTICLE TWO: The Central Powers will evacuate all occupied colonial and national territory of the Allied Powers within 31 days, following which the Allied Powers will evacuate all occupied colonial and national territory of the Central Powers within 31 days. Territory is defined as the legally established borders on July 27th, 1914, except where superseded by later treaties as per Article Nine.

ARTICLE THREE: The repatriation of the POWs and detainees of both parties will begin immediately after the evacuations in Article Two are complete, along with the return of all seized naval vessels.

ARTICLE FOUR: There shall be no removal or destruction of civilian goods or inhabitants in evacuated territories and all military matériel and premises are to be left intact.

ARTICLE FIVE: All means of communication (roads, railways, canals, bridges, telegraphs, telephones) are to be left intact, as well as everything needed for agriculture and industry.

ARTICLE SIX: All captured matériel shall remain in its controllers hands.

ARTICLE SEVEN: All minefields on land and sea are to be identified as soon as possible after signature.

ARTICLE EIGHT: There shall be free access to all waters for all unarmed vessels.

ARTICLE NINE: The Allied Powers and Central Powers will respect the treaties made by their former or current members with other powers as long as they were made without force.

ARTICLE TEN: The independent Kingdom of Poland will be welcomed into the new League of Nations. Further territorial conflicts should be resolved by plebiscites to avoid future wars.

ARICLE ELEVEN: The Entente and the Central Powers will coordinate their actions in the Russian Civil War and the Chinese Civil War to bring peace and stability back to the region. We will warn and inform each other of any future mystical threat and danger to prevent other regions from falling into enemy hands.

ARTICLE TWELVE: From now on the League of Nations will serve as a combined alliance of mankind against the mystical dangers hat have returned to our world.

ARTICLE THIRTEEN: Biological and chemical weapons will from now on be banned in all future wars among mankind. However they may be used to find new ways to fight and defeat the mystical beasts and creatures returning to our world.

The Ceasefire signed in Akershus Fortress, Oslo, Norway would later lead to the Peace with Honor (German: Frieden mit Ehre) between the Central Powers and the Entente in the beginning of 1918. While the hostilities of the Great War ended, it's aftermaths, proxy conflicts and the civil wars that broke out during this time would continue. While all powers were war-weary, they continued to fight alongside each other in the Russian and Chinese Civil Wars where Central Powers an Entente soldiers fought together for the League of Nations to prevent any further human regions following into the hands of the mysticals. Despite this attentions Great Britain was distracted by the Irish Rebellion and the Pharaoh Uprising in Egypt, Germany and France faced civil, religious and social unrest and the rise o nationalism threatened to rip apart Austria-Hungary when no self-determination and reforms would come. The Ottoman Empire meanwhile was facing many minorities (Armenians, Greeks, Arabs and Kurdish) rebelling against it's rule, while the Empire of Japan robbed from the labor of it's fight against Germany tried to win over various Chines warlords and cliques. The United States Meanwhile faced social, religious and civil unrest and were eager to bring their troops home, so they could enforce law and order once again.
