The female Myke Commander Zyme Kaym, was member of a Species that kind of looked like humans and ancient Sith had mixed to some extent and even their writing system was rather close to that of the ancient Sith species. Because of this many Mykes felt speciesist profiled and outcast during the later days of the Galactic Republic, and some, like Zyme Kaym not only joined the Separatist Alliance, the later Confederacy of Independent Systems, but actually volunteered to prove their worth and that they wished to be a proud part of the new Separatist society, were all species would be equal. When she lost part of her face during the over-watch of an experimental anti-organic Trooper Separatist weapon test that went wrong, the Confederate Conglomerates replaced her mouth and nose with a breathing apparatus, that in the eyes of the young female commander looked hideous and ugly, depriving her of all future chances of having normal conversations with the opposite sex ever again, or even looking a little bit attractive. Not wishing to End up like this, the female myke actually saved much of her credit loan to pay the Trade Federation and the Techno Union to create a special command helmet for her, one similar to the Sentinel Droids that also had a viewscreen and holographic display in the glass mask, that allowed her to project a holographic display of her former look to the outside viewer, so sophisticated that it even looked like she herself was speaking when she would talk trough her cybernetic breathing apparatus and the mask holoprojector below the glass above that. In full armor with gloves on many would even mistake her for a Sentinel Droid Messanger herself, a misunderstanding, Commander Zyme Kaym would use from time to time if she was interested in certain reactions of her opponents, or amusingly would watch how they mistook her for a programmed droid, only to be surprised when a rather organic sharp mind was behind that helmet of hers.

One problem remained for the female Myke, the fact that whenever she took the helmet with the display off, everyone still could see her true, with the cybernetics disformed looking face and so she never used the changing rooms and showers as long other organic people were around. To an extent she liked battle droids and labor droids much more since the incident, as to them they were all imperfect organics and they would never judge her look because of the accident, much unlike General Grievous viewed them for similar reasons, as they reminded him of his own, now mostly droid body leading to his anger and hatred of them. What angered her most about it was the fact that it had been something completely out of her control and Commander Kaym hated not being in control. Organic forces and commanders of the Separatists, who had worked with her before also realized that ever since the incident, she was much more easy to anger, often moody and disappointment, if not depressed even after a victory and no matter how well her superiors and others looked at her. Despite her own insecurities and anger, she was a capable Separatist Commander that did however tried to vent of her boiling rage by being especially cruel to enemy Clone, Republic and Imperial Troopers alike, no matter if they had already surrendered, or even were prisoners her forces had to look after. Because of this many enemy organic troopers fought especial fierce when they knew they were facing her and defeat against the Separatist was imminent, something that then often only encouraged her to be even more angrier and enraged at those around her. But while her battle droids, unlike Grevious often never felt this side of her, organic subordinates, especial men who knew her character and looks that had rejected her advances in the past faced harshest times under her command. Sometimes they even were volunteered by her for rather suicidal missions whenever she felt like this was the right punishment for how she felt they had treated her in the past. To the same extent Commander Zyme Kaym also used captured enemy organic soldiers and fused mines or other explosives to their armor or bodies trough cybernetics, before sending them against their own lines again, or otherwise face being shot right there at the spot.
