Once a Clone Trooper Cadet that was a member of Bravo Squad, CT-66-3232 showed enough potential to be selected as a potential ARC trooper candidate by ARC Commander Colt after they successfully ran the Citadel Challenge. While failing the ultimate test of doing so he became a member of the 31st Nexu Battalion, an elite unit of clone troopers specialized in assault, infiltration, and reconnaissance, that served under Jedi Knight Ralos Velense and Clone Commander CC-2831 Keck and would be deployed against the Separatist Alliance, the Confederacy of Independent Systems, on worlds like Taris, Sajun, and Dremulae. During this campaigns, missions and battles CT-66-3232, alias Nexon, named in honor of his Nexu Battallion whom he loved as the closest he was to his Clone Brothers would be transferred to the Republic Navy, were he would fight alongside Galactic Marines to ensure they would be capable of boarding and taking over, enemy space ships, or even infiltrate them to extract data and personal unknowingly. To this End Nexon became a skilled infiltrator and boarding party member, that became skilled in enemy ship boarding, which lead him to become a skilled raider and space pirate, first against the Separatists, later against those remaining in the Galactic Republic instead of joining the Galactic Empire. From these Imperial operations, Nexon became a Privateer for the Imperial Navy and would operate to raid Separatist and Republican worlds and trade fleets in an attempt to weaken and devastate their enemy, as well as it’s overall morale at the same time. These raids lead Nexon to become first a Captain, later becoming first captain of a boarding party and ultimately Commander of such special boarding party forces, which in turn lead to him commanding his own boarding ship, as well as many captured ships falling under his command by means of hostile takeover and boarding over time. Once his abilities and skills in command were overall understood by his superiors as well, he was send on a special mission for the Empire, their Imperial forces that had the target of going into the distant satellite dwarf galaxy known as Companion Cresh.

The Companion Cresh itself was well beyond the 150,000 light year distance from the main Galaxy, that was known as a part of the Unknown Regions, known to them thanks to the Baobab Merchant Marine Academy on Manda, which operated as the Boabab Merchant Fleet as part of the Boabab Merchant Marine, who would rival expeditions of the Galactic Republic and the Separatist Alliance alike, who would rival them for new colonies, allies, member worlds and depending systems and sectors they tried to bring on their own side. The Galactic Republic tried to do so trough diplomatic means mainly, the Separatist Alliance tried to do so mainly by means of economic pressure and dependencies, while the Empire tried a more direct, military approach of taking over either directly, or trough allying local dictators, tyrants, warlords and auxiliary forces alike. This way the Empire managed to project more forces into the Companion Cresh then they would otherwise have been capable of doing on their own beside Republic and Separatist rivalries and opposition who had the very same idea of expanding not only in the Galaxy itself, into Wild Space and the Unknown Regions, but also against one another in the nearby dwarf galaxies, where their rivaling expeditions would soon meet and also soon directly rival and fight one another for overall influence and power. Because they were however often cut from overall supplies and reinforcements, they needed their local allies and auxiliary forces, trade partners and other supporters as much as they needed them. While the Galactic Republic tried mainly using soft power, like diplomacy, trade and the Jedi Order, while the Separatist Alliance, the Confederacy of Independent Systems utilized a mix of heavy economic power and also using their own Conglomerate forces either directly, or as costly rented auxiliary for their new trade partners and allies alike who greatly depended on them because of that quickly overall, while the Empire itself used mainly force, either their own military, or supporting local despots, tyrants and warlords with their armor, weaponry, training, or advisers alike, so they in return could use their local organic, either regular, or cybernetic upgraded and droid forces alike as their auxiliaries.
