This is an excellent piece that is a joy to view each time I bring it up! Every time I look at it I see something new that I missed before - and that's definitely not an easy thing to do. It certainly shows patience on the part of the artist to stick with the piece long enough to crowd in as much as you have - and you've done it tastefully, without being -too- much. It reminds me a bit of the animal interlace you find on ancient art where recognizable images are carved alongside simple repeating patterns to adorn different items like weapons, pottery, or religious fetishes. When I take off my glasses it still looks neat since the little details blur and I can see larger features better. Good in 20/20 and 20/70 vision - that's a feat for you!
There's little I can say about the piece itself that I'd say isn't working but I think it might be worth re-shooting to get rid of the wood wall/floor around the edges. Shooting against a neutral gray might be nicer, or just filling the frame entirely. Composition plays a lesser part here and the emphasis definitely falls to line work and the negative/positive play.
It might be neat to try something with color too - maybe doing this but the negative space is another picture instead of just black (so maybe your lines would be white or some other color). Perhaps a photo of something that brings you inner peace? Have all the line work trace around and bring out features in the underlying picture. Or just filling in the negative space to make a mosaic of sorts. Just a thought. It would also be neat to see you try some different thickness of lines. You've got hearts and stars and dots and such, so it doesn't come across at first, but it looks like the lines are all pretty much the same width and it might be worth varying them a bit. Not a huge deal.
I gave the Originality a 4.5 stars because I've seen this sort of thing attempted before but you've definitely made it your own. I'm still finding things going on that I didn't recognize! Well done!

I like the way the words suddenly appear out of nowhere as you gaze at it. And they are pleasant, gentle, soothing words too. Makes a pleasant change to the brutality displayed so graphically everywhere nowadays. Especially on TV.
