I like the mood you have created for this piece with the brush strokes. The color really brings to life the atmosphere as well as the hidden trails and such. Almost as if you can hear nature through this work. Nice!

great work. you could make the reflections on the surface more detailed and contrasted to make the water look more lively. but still overall effect is lovely

this is so gorgeous! if i stare at it for a short while it starts to look like the water is moving. or maybe i'm just a bit tired. either way, it's a wonderful drawing.

Ages ago I sat on a riverbank in Munich with my back to a tree, sketchbook in hand and drew. A little boy, 6 or 7 years old kept coming over to me. First behind me and looking over my shoulder to see what I was doing. I said hello and with my little bit of German and his little bit of English, we talked for a long time. It was a good day. He introduced me to his mother... I think he was trying to hook us up. Fun
I've never achieved your skill in drawing and I admire it a great deal. You should be very proud of this piece.
