One more undertale piece, also featuring Sans. Honestly, I've just fallen in love with this character.

In all my past drawings, I kept trying to draw Sans with more of a realistic skull and the results were mixed to say the least. Pretty much everyone else portrays him as seen in the game: a cartoony lovable lump. So I finally buckled down and drew Sans the way he's meant to be. I may have gone a bit overboard with trying to make him as chibi and adorable as I possibly could in stark contrast to how I've been trying to draw him, but I kind of like the way he almost looks like a plushie in this.

Lighting was a bit of a challenge for me again. I dunno, lighting is one of those things that I don't have a problem with in traditional art, but it seems the moment I try to enter photoshop, I have to reprogram my brain in order to get things to look right. I originally was just going to highlight him in white like I usually do, but although that lighting works in places like snowdin, it looked really out of place in hotland where Sans' hotdog stand is located. The result is that sans looks a bit more orangey than I had originally anticipated, but it's a learning process.

I honestly hadn't noticed the connection between the water sausages at the beginning of the game and the "hot dogs...?" that Sans sells you later until I was running a playthrough with my sister and she pointed it out to me. Bahahaha I love this game.
