I really like the looseness of your portraits. The only minor thing ... just my opinion, of course... is that the splatters feel a little forced. It's kinda hard to do that without thinking of Pollack.
I'm totally into some drips and splatters, but like it better when it happens naturally. I do dig the way you used the drips and the effect of 'blowing' on the wet media for the hair. Also like the blue wash around the eyes and lips.

Hey, it happens. I just really like that you're working loosely and taking creative risks and being spontaneous - that's how the magic happens, I think. Sometimes you get a happy accident, sometimes a mistake.

Oh yeah, definitely. Drips and splatters are always fun to do regardless if it comes out how you want it to, though.

Thanks! I was really pleased with the way it came out. I'm also kicking around the idea of painting zombified portraits of people. Haha I think that would look really cool in my style.
