Description Taken on a recent holiday to Binna Burra (Lamington National Park), Gold Coast Hinterlands, Queensland, Australia. This is Burrajum Falls along the Coomera Circuit, definitely one of the most stunning walks I’ve ever done.

To get the best light for shots, we started walking at about 4:45am, was definitely worth the early rise! We definitely felt accomplished after walking 43km in three days too!

Canon 400D and Tamron 17-50mm lens.

ISO: 100

Love the shine and textures in the composition as well as the surreal atmosphere lent by the timed exposure.

It's fascinating to see over the (shutter delay?) scope that the water swirled upon itself on the right hand side. The water looks pretty pristine.

I love how there is growth and mosses on the rocks, gently dwindling along the edges of the pool.

Your water shots always give an ethereal sense of motion, and semi existence. It'd be interesting to compare this to a high-speed shutter capture.

I believe this shot was taken with the same camera model that I currently use.

I'm still getting used to the settings.

You've got great lighting, and good colour contrast, though I suggest just fiddling with contrast and brightness settings (just to fiddle, mind, to see if you like it. This is not suggestion to change your work), they can sometimes provide pleasing levels of tonal difference.

I know it sounds funny, but the one thing that stands out so brilliant, to me, is how natural it is. A beautiful shot that couldn't be copied. Well done!

I'll definitely give the brightness/contrast a go as I haven't edited it any more since I put it up on redbubble so we'll see how that goes. And yes, we both have the 400D! It's a nifty camera indeed. I'm waiting for the 5DMKii to come out so I can go full frame Thanks for another great in depth comment, I'm really glad you're like my waterscapes!

Ace! That's going to be one powerful camera.

And I'm glad that you're happy to fiddle with settings: It shows a willingness to experiment with your works, which can lead to interesting, and often exquisite results.
