Description
So I had an idea to make this list that could benefit anyone that designs elemental based creatures.I'm gonna take an example from my favorite artist Lets say you want to create a lobster creature and you decide that you want it to be an electric type lobster but what do you do now? Well you look at the list under electric and notice "jumper cables" and bingo! jumper cables look very similar to lobster claws. I'm gonna make a lobster with jumper cable claws! [link]
As you can see, this list is hardly complete, so I need everyone's help to make it better. Anything you think should be added to the list just let me know and I'll add it in there.

Hm...
Ghost: Smog, Hitaikakushi ([link] ), Will-o'-the-wisp ([link] )
Cosmic: Aurora(could also be light), Black Hole(could also be dark), nebula, Saturn rings
Sound: whistle, ultra sound (I think that what it's called...)
Metal: Knights, Armored cars
Agh... That's all I've got that I didn't see mentioned already. Sorry.

The hybrid-zation is gonna complicate things more I bet.
For fire I don't see Magma and/or Lava, would steam go under this or would that be more like a water+fire hybrid thing? Since phoenix is listed the stereotypical fire-breathing western dragon also comes to mind. Though I guess steam could go hand-in-hand with the cooking motifs like stove and oven. Maybe welding equipment? but that maybe too broad, maybe welding would fit more with metal sense metals are the materials getting welded. Blacksmith and/or Welder motif could be good for a Fire/Metal Byte. There could be the Sun, sun Gods, fire Gods?
Pirate and Navy and/or Sailor could be good for water. Wave motifs could be good. Island is good, like taking an islander culture from anywhere within the real-world and drawing inspiration from that. Cities close to docks, and/or the sea could also work. Air Bytes, could probably be inclined to some bird-like traits like talons, and beaks. For Earth, one of my Byte ideas was someone who had a "Clay" Byte. One he/she gives a new appearance to occasionally for artistic purposes, like those people that only play around in Spore's monster makers to construct a new species. The character I'm taking about sort of makes an income from these designs by selling them to less-creative Byte users. The Clay Byte has a base form with fancy clay-like powers. But this is just an idea, and whenever I picture the Byte I see it as some kind of elemental hybrid.
Earth could also relate to precious gems, like rubies and sapphires. Electricity can have pulse, or EMP, and maybe Plasma like St.Elmo's Fire. For poison, infection? Bacteria, Viruses. I'm trying to figure out what element radiation would go under. The typical bio-hazard warning has an air forbidden-ness to it that could probably fit with darkness. But radiation could probably also go with Cosmic due to cosmic rays. Though maybe Radiation would fit with light, with the whole "Radiance" thing. Part of me thinks that Fungi could be moved to poison due to a mix of sometimes(I don't know if they're all or not) parasitic lifestyle, a natural knack for bug-control(like Cordyceps). The way fungal mold can alter food for better or for worse.
I had an idea for Light in the sense of playing with the color spectrum, like a prism or something.
For Metal, maybe metallic equipment and/or weapons like the harpoons of a ship, artfully crafted blades. Screws, screwdrivers, and other metal tools. Metallic structures of the modern/futuristic world. Refined ores.(though that last one can work as a earth/metal hybrid)
Hope there aren't too many mistakes

Well I'm gonna have to post my type combo chart now. You might be able to help me fill in the blank spots. There's a lava type and a steam type(actually boil type) When trying to figure out how attacks work in the game. I figured that each type has there own attacks but when you combine two types you get a different set of attacks as well. There are the 15 basic byte types but once you combine two types, you can create a lot of other byte types.
I like the clay byte idea and how one could sell their byte designs to those who aren't creative enough to create their own design.
You came up with a lot of really good ideas to add to the list. Thank you very much for the help.

To the earth section you could add "Sand" and maybe even "mud" 8'D
