"Jawlets...? What the hell is that" - you might ask.
Worry not, I'm going to explain c:
Not me actually, but Quarion, who is really eager to tell you more about them!

First of all, what are Jawlets and why they are named like that?Quarion: Well, I named them like that because of their enormous teeth, to which I almost lost my hand. I need to learn to not try to pet everything that looks cute.
I saw them appearing from anomaly residues, after new Secati was "born". From leftovers of that anomaly - Jawlet came to life with loud smack to the ground. Confused creature almost immedately started to chew on everything near them. Which, unfortunately, were my legs.

How do they look like?
Quarion: They have long body that looks like tentacle with suction cups on belly, with egg shaped head and two stubby front legs.
On the head, near the mouth area, there are always visible two or more appendages - they are the "nose" of Jawlets, as they can feel all scents with those. When they open their mouth, apendages are curling upwards.
There are no holes for eyes nor "real" nose on the head - it's all smooth.
Jawlets have unique ability to pop up functional eyes anywhere on their skin (excluding belly, where they have suction cups) - they can see with those, if they need it, but for most of the time, they depend on their sense of smell.
Their coloration vary with each Jawlet, they also can have glowing, metallic or opalescent markings. Metallic teeth were also observed.
Recently I also discovered unusual mutation - some Jawlets can grow unnatural materials on their body - plants, metal, bones - you name it. Those are rare though and I saw only four of them, there needs to be more for sure!

What is their intelligence level and their behaviour?Quarion: Very social and curious. They are easy to tame and if you earn their trust - they will slither around you anywhere you go.
When they are calm, they are usually laying in one place, often chewing something. When they will feel any danger, they will immedately show their teeth and scream. Sounds they make are similar to sounds of different species of frogs. They can vary from hissing to screaming, often being not really intimidating, but funny.
Their intelligence level is comparable to dogs or pigs.

What do they eat?Quarion: They are omnivores. Well, more than just regular omnivores. They LITERALLY eat everything. Each of them of course have their own preferences for food and what they like, but don't be surprised if they start chewing on your furniture or utensils.

Do they have any magical abilities?Quarion: No magical abilities were observed yet. They just slither around and eat everything.

Can they reproduce?Quarion: They can't reproduce as they have no organs giving them ability to do so.

Can I get one?Quarion: Absolutely! I have a strong feeling, that there will be many opportunities to get one for yourself in the near future!

And this is it folks, as addition - Jawlets are closed species that I created, because I wanted two things: being able to create adopts that are not restricted to trait rarities and to make something smaller and cheaper to obtain, but still connected with Secati lore and overall idea. Like, really, who wouldn't like to have their own little tentacle slithering after you?
They are very loose species if it comes to traits and how they look - they have no rarities as I mentioned, and they will be uploaded in batches of 4 or more in the near future, so have your eyes open!
