And here it is, my first artwork of 2018, featuring a battle between Georgia and Hoshiko that honestly...came out a lot grittier than expected, but I can say I'm pleased with the result.I tried a few new things for this piece, the shading style for one, and it came out really well IMO. The background/setting as well is very different as well from the WIP, being moved from a ring to...more like a dirty urban brawl. I also expanded on the more subtle features, like Georgia's freckles, and attempted cuts and bruises, they are in a fight after all.

I love the gritty feeling of this. The raging background gives a real sense of all out combat too.

Hahaha, it is a bit "fight-game-y" isn't it?
But I'm glad you like it! the gritty aesthetic wasn't my original intention, but once I discovered it, I went all out with it. So I'm glad it payed off! ^^
