Because I wanted to draw a pony >.> And it's something a little different? xD

Eldris's war/cavalry horse, Strider, who probably has more personality than Eldris himself... Well, maybe not. But definitely more than Nazir xD

He's pretty much a big softy 90% of the time, quite young, curious and attached to Eldris, follows him around like a dog.... but the minute there's any threat he will trample it to death, and some. He bites, kicks, stomps, and can generally become a complete handful, sometimes ignoring Eldris's commands. Basically he's like a horse version of Eldris - it's not over until whatever attacked is a bloody mess, then returns to being an angel xD He's become quite a bit more than just a mount in what I'm writing (he's probably got a higher kill count than Eldris/Nazir/Dekker combined xDD), so felt like giving him a portrait to match the others I do of my guys C:

Also you know he belongs to Eldris by the plaits in his mane. Eldris is a chronic hair/mane fiddler and if his hands aren't occupied, plaits will be created in his hair/whoever is nearest xD

Dapple greys are a pain in the butt to draw. That is all I have to say on this 'artistically' xD

Drawing ponies is also getting me super psyched for my birthday at the beginning of June - I used to ride a lot, and did so for about eight years - I started when I was 7 or so. Then it just got far too expensive, and had to stop. But I've managed to convince my parents to get me a few riding lessons for my birthday so I'll try and get back into it, and maybe attempt a lesson or two a month because I miss riding so much >.> But when it's £35-ish for half an hour, and I earn minimum wage, an average day's work only just covers it...
