Decided to take it slow and start with something super simple lmao. And even then I heckin struggled. I couldnt make Optimus's flat robo-fingers work for me so I just defaulted to my normal hand style for the sake of my own sanity. I hope you all can forgive it lol. I'm super new and bad at drawing robots but I'm trying my best.

This is an idea I've had with almost all of Aphrodite's ships, so dont be shocked if you see this concept again at some point, but it's an idea I like just because it's a huge show of trust for Aphrodite's people, and she isnt prone to doing this for just anyone. So this is like...an extreme honor given that it's so incredibly rare.

The Venrai are all born with spirit stones embedded into the palms of their hands, whether they are of the common, elite, or royal class. These particular spirit stones are referred to as "energy stones" in Venrai anatomy, and they serve a multitude of functions. But one of these functions includes the ability to join their energy with those of other organisms and perform "mind walks" with them. Which basically means that the Venrai allows the person they're sharing their energy with into their mind to share their knowledge, memories, even their deepest secrets, if they are so inclined to go that far. The most commonly seen display of this act is normally present during wedding-night rituals between brides and grooms. However it can be performed between friends, unwed couples, and family members as well if theres enough trust involved.

The thing about these mind walks is that they are considered to be incredibly personal and sacred, and they are usually done in private. It's considered to be one of the most intimate things a Venrai can do for another creature, almost on the same level as being allowed to touch a female Venrai's hair. It forces the Venrai to be completely exposed and vulnerable emotionally to the person they are walking with. And that is not easy for anyone, no matter the class. It can also be extremely taxing, both physically and mentally, which is part of why it's so rarely done. Some Venrai have even broken out into screaming, sobbing fits while mind walking with someone, purely because the trauma they endured in the past was so great. While others experience physical pain and body aches or extreme fatigue/lightheadedness afterwards.

We can just go ahead and assume they can do this with any living/sentient species just to avoid any confusion, and while they can open up their minds as much as they like, they cannot enter someone elses mind without first being given permission and trust to do so, purely due to how emotionally taxing and stressful it can be to open yourself up to someone else on such a personal level. It opens you up to a lot of judgement from the person you are sharing with, depending on how much you can physically show them without becoming completely drained of energy first.

needless to say that anyone who Aph has given the honor of sharing herself with as opposed to just explaining herself through word of mouth definitely knows her incredibly well and is someone she trusts without question, as it would be one of the greatest forms of trust that she could ever offer. Depending on how long she and Optimus could have known one another, she probably would end up sharing herself with him eventually once she felt like she was comfortable enough to take on the task (or if she were forced into a position where she didnt feel like she had another choice). Buttt that said, depending on how long team Prime has been on earth, it's likely that Aphrodite took a shine to them the second she laid eyes on them, given that she's been here since the 1820 and hasnt seen anyone or anything even remotely similar to herself in at least a couple of centuries. So while it'd definitely take time for Aphrodite to share herself with anyone in such a way, it really isnt a matter of if, but when.

NGL I honestly didnt intend on throwing Aph into this universe just bc she's kinda OP and oddly placed in this setting, but heck with it. The ship is there. The fun interactions with the other characters are there. And I'm not here to be perfect. I'm here to have fun, dangit. Please don't judge me.
