Description
in its earliest state. i've worked on this sketch alone all last week, and now i find that its really wonky. i'm still pleased with it, but looking at it so much has made me loose that 'yayness' of doing something worthwhile, and i'm kind of tired of looking at it. but i am determined to teach myself to take my time and do stuff right. plus, i could never REALLY get sick of looking at Moony. (aaaaah! FANGIRL!)reuploaded a better scan. will ink soon.

...If my sketches looked anything like this, I'd probably die happy. this is amazing, though I don't know anything about the character. I can't wait to see the finsihed project.

Ah ok, that would explain the feet. But by the “holding up the end of his pant leg” I meant that his left foot is in the air, so the end of his pant leg would hang on his heel which is holding it up. (since his foot is currently horizontal). *hopes that makes sense now* >.<
But I didn’t know his feet were supposed to be long so I guess it doesn’t matter anyways.

Although I’m not familiar with ‘Moonscars?’ This sketch isn’t that bad. I think you did pretty well, especially with the face and hair. The only things that might need a touch up are the eye brows (a bit dark, maybe lighten them a bit?), and the feet which look a tad bit too long, (example being his left leg in the air, you figure his heel would be holding up the end of his pant leg, or maybe you could tilt his foot back since he is kicking back with it.)
Anyways I hope that helps and hey, anything worth having is never easy to achieve. Only through patience can you achieve quality and the reward is well worth it. That and you don’t seem like the artist that believes in quantity over quality anyways. You have talent, so don’t give up!

"moonscars" is just the title i thought i'd use, as, hopefully when this is finished, it'll portray the physical aspect of being a teenage werewolf, covered in scars from the wolf's rage (i thought to add them in later, because i wasn't sure where to put some of them). to be honest, this is Harry Potter fanart, and he's my favorite character right now, Remus Lupin (aka Moony) about the age of 18 or so.
as for his feet, i read and RP journal or something like that that mentioned Remus having abnormally long feet and toes, and i thought it was cute concept, so i went with it. and by holding up the end of his pant leg, do you mean because of the heel it wouldn't be touching the ground? if so, i can explain that too, since he would probably have been 18 around the late 1970s, those style of pants are like the classic bellbottoms from the 70s, you know? which are long and sometimes drag the ground. as for the eyebrows, i didn't notice that! i'll work on those... ^_^
