I'm obsessed with these guys. My take on what a Selonian would look like, just based on descriptions. Their 'official' look is drastically different. But this is what a Selonian looks like in my mind, sort of a cross between an otter and a ferret (but with a pointier head). I could get really technical and tell you about the webbing between her toes and using her tail as a counterbalance and using Ky and Goldie's notes on quadrupeds evolving into bipeds and Selonians being able to go on all fours just as on two legs and whatnot. INSTEAD i'll just give you a description.
Sarrasska is an albino Selonian, rejected by her den because of her albinism (Selonians don't NEED to reject the young, but as a group primarily concerned with the well-being of the den, its instinct to do so.) She was raised by humans on Corellia, and taught the ways of Selonians that come above ground (these are specially trained to deal with humans, and do not behave as they would with others of their kind, they are made to make humans feel comfortable with them.) So you can see why Rrasska would be so confused about Selonian behavior and body language, and why they are so aggressive toward her. She still has the 'Den instinct", however, and many other instincts that come naturally to a Selonian. However, she seems to be the only one of her kind that has the ability to lie. Her upbringing in the seedier parts of Corellia contributes to this.
By nature, Sarrasska is moody, humorless, and very protective of her " den". She is strong , agile, and a powerful swimmer, and is a valuable addition to a trio of mercenaries.
I plan on coloring this.
