Description
Yep. You Cannot scan a ferret. I've been really quiet lately and this little fluffy turdfactory is basically the reason. Maybe not, but I feel like blaming it on her any way.New weasel + Scanner = This mess.
No she's not throwing up or anything she was licking up a treat. That nasty yellow stuff.
And I know the section for this is all wrong and very abused. I'll scrap it as soon as a certain cheesedanish lets me.

I was actually disappointed she wiggled, since the faster 'test' scan showed allot of her feet.
Still it's not bad for a paw ref....

do you give your ferret yogies? my not-so-widdle fizzle likes the banana-raison flavored ones

I used to give my old ferrets that, but for this ferret now I decided to start her off right.
She doesn't get anything a ferret can't or shouldn't digest. Yogies are actually pretty bad for weasels. Sugars lead to some cancers [I learned the hard way].
A small treat every once in a while[like a week or month] probably wouldn't hurt... but I'm just not taking chances.
Kaie's absolute FAVORITE treat is these little freezedried raw chicken circles. She'll do anything for those.

oh, i did not know that >.< but our ferrets are so picky they refuse to eat anything but cat food, ferret food, human food and yogies

Ferrets are imprint eaters. That means they will only be willing to try new things when they are very young [Like what mom would bring back to the den]. After that they stick with what they know.
People food is very bad for 'em. Cat food is almost as bad, you can't feed your cat dogfood... you shouldn't feed the ferret catfood. Ferrets requirements are much higher.
There is hope, if your patient and clever and keep working and mixing foods to get them on a healthier diet.
Who knows, if I tried sooner I might not have lost my Kylan... or Fox, or the two ferrets that are still alive with terminal cancers.
And as far as ferret foods... NEVER get any of the ones that have bits of fruit or veggies in them. Those can kill your weasel if they happen to block the intestine. A ferret cannot digest anything that is not strictly meat.
Stupid picky weasels......

Please explain to me how THAT is cruel.
In case it wasn't obvious, and it should be, Kaie was sitting on top of the scanner bed while getting a treat. The lid, again this should be obvious to even the most dense moron out there, was removed. It's like one large camera lense.
You have no idea how much of my life is devoted to ferret husbandry. I take my responsibility as a pet owner EXTREMELY serious.
Which, the same can't be said for that unfortunate cat of yours. I would never allow any of my ferrets to become so unhealthy.
Obesity is not funny. It's not something that should be ignored either or shrugged off.
"Being overweight can cause a pet to be at risk for medical problems such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, liver disease, greater surgical/anaesthetic risk, and musculoskeletal/joint dysfunction." -- Quoted directly from [link] .
Not to mention the heavily increased risk of developing cancer. Obesity isn't just a 'sign of getting older' in cats. It is... Cruel and Unhealthy.
I would suggest you take proper responsibility and care for your own animals before you even dare point fingers[A couple of vet trips should do wonders]. Think twice before opening your mouth and instead just keep inserting those rich chocolatey treats that you profess to love some much, and keep your clearly biased opinionated and tunnel visioned observations to yourself...
...and don't forget to chew before swallowing.

Yeah, but could you imagine what it would look like if you scruffed the ferret and scanned her/he/shitfactory? I'd had the humane society busting down my door!

OK, Treats tops the bright shiny light-thing. We (read: my oldest daughter) used to have rats and they would have done nearly anything for yummy treats.
