Description
A 'fan commission' for ~Horn-AdamaTwo rangers. An Elemental powered armor with sword drawn, and a specops soldier with battle rifle leveled. They have each others backs , ready for the swarm that is about to fall on them.
Thanks to everyone that watched in the streams, keeping me company and providing valuable critiques. And another thanks to Horn for the commission, without it this nice piece of work wouldn't have happened.
Fluff - The Shield Sword is a basic shield based weapon that was devised during the early testing of the mysterious new technology. It allowed the test deployment of shields in a simple device that could be used without implants.
No longer commonly used due to the restriction of shield material and advancement of dynamic internal battle armor shields. It is now only seen ceremonially or among a select few who have stuck to it's use, it still retains it's diversity as an easily deployed utility weapon. It can form a heat blade, defensive bubble or wall, and counter frequency fields and paths to better penetrate projectiles, or any other specialized form that is programmed in.

This is great work. I see the Shirow influence but you did your own thing. I also really like the lighting and poses.

You should make a new kind of bullet where the primer is made from a different material which is twice "as good" i guess i should say and you only need about half the amount of material that a modern bullet takes which allows for a higher caliber bullet. XD anyway sick idea for the sword/shield thing. Never would have thought of that.

Oh they deffo have better propellant, so the casing is narrower allowing more high caliber rounds per mag

Again, can't afford a subscription, but i'd give a very positive critique on this one. the level of detail is phnominal, the almost 3D graphic texture is just amazing. I can't- and probably never will be able to, draw like this, tools or no tools.

It's more of the illustration work for my own story/universe. The blades are kind of there cuz people simply like blades, but the suit itself can do the same or better little tricks of it's own.

can you compare the armors they're wearing to Halo's Mjolnir variants? like does it strengthen the wearer's abilities?

They are similar, while the users dont have increased reactions, with their AIs help they can move faster. The main difference is the shields, which are worlds more versatile.

Well, Arlioz Has the apparatus, a mini supercollider, Zero point generator, capable of generating massive force and particles to transferr the energy. he can't control it so well. like trying to hold down a nuclear explosion, then trying to release it and it won't fire off as strong.
he does have upgraded Ferring (alien wolf people) techology and help from a Heaven computer. it only made the armor more versatile and able to take much more dammage, much, much more. He did have an AI. Lambda, an advanced AI that grew infinately, and somehow had connection to every piece of himself.
Arlioz has much at his hands, so they call him THE hecatonchires, because some soldiers are called hecatonchir because they're as strong as fifty spartans, but arlioz is as strong as 500... even more. He's got friends with similar power too. and his Girl is just lucky as all get out.
