Description
Here's a Battletech fan commission done for BranndonA Ghost Bear Alpha Galaxy mechwarrior stands atop his idling Kodiak assault mech after some light fighting.
Not my hottest piece of color art, as I was coming out of a long string of official lineart redesigns for Battletech. Went with a mixed design style between the old art and MWO version for the mech.

I'd say we're pretty cleanly away from the FASA days now. We get the odd dud, but CGL is largely employing actual mech artists, not just random scifi dinosaurs

3025/early stuff. CGL is putting out some early source books and Alpha Strike Combat Manuals that have redesigned unseen mechs in them.

any word on if we will get a real Era Report or Historical Report 3025? Β I know it would retread some stuff, but it seems so many of the base rules are very 3050+ in general approach, and seeing official modifiers for tech work, refit availability, and an updated look at the setting would be nice, without having to dig through 50 books to keep track of what got retconned how.
