Description
Terror from the Deep hit shelves recently, an expansion book to the Contact RPG which as you might guess focuses on marine operations. This is the 4th book to be published for Contact, unfortunately for now they're still only published in German. It's been hinted at a lot but some day there should be an English release, I just have no idea when.
Here's the cover to start things off. I'll be posting some of my favorite pieces over a few days.
Shown are Triton operatives in high tech submersible power armor, about to assault an alien mothership. When things get wet, trade your rocket launcher in for a supercavitating torpedo launcher, sure to ruin someone's day.

This Drawing is awkwardly bright for an underwater setting. Perhaps you don't really fathom how dark it can be down there.

You know, when (if?) Contact is ever released in the US, I imagine quite a few of the sales will be because of the art you've posted here. Seriously, though, if the game is the same quality as the art, then it should be an amazing game.

I hear it's quite a complex game, made for people that want really in dept tactical combat roleplaying. And yeah, pretty much the entire global fanbase revolves around my artwork

Actually, I think a game set in the Contact Universe would be nice!Β
At this point, I feel that Contact is far more fleshed out and EASILY has better visual designs than XCOM.

If the current game picks up enough a videogame could be possible. That's quite a way down the road though.

Did they really call it "Terror from the Deep?"Β I'd think after calling the game Contact they would have come up with their own name for the expansion.

I don't see a problem with being honest about the references made. Would you prefer we lie and deny that the game heavily references xcom?
