I don't know if this has made it in time for the Sci-Fi contest , as I'm posting it from the UK. If it hasn't, no worries.I made the city in Bryce 5.5 and rendered it on the PC... the rendering was very quick, even in Super Fine mode: three quarters of an hour. The flying saucers (created in Photoshop Elements 2.0) took me longer and I nearly threw them on the scrap heap! At the last moment I found a technique that made them work. Just about.

My favorite part, after the color scheme, is the reflection of the buildings in the water. I am a sucker for reflections.

Me too -- which is why Bryce is a wonderful application to play with. It can also make it quite slow, all those reflections to calculate, LOL.
