Description
Update 24-12-20091. Due to the many irrelevant comments I'm disabling the comment feature for this work. Sorry folks.
2. Yes, this is the drawing that Shia LaBeouf has tattooed on his ribcage.
This drawing is about being a prisoner of your own actions and choices. It shows how I felt when I was going through a tough period in my life.
- graphite on Lana drawing paper
- photo reference (my own hand)
- about 12 hours
- 12" x 9"
Hope you like it.

tbh i think the hand here is in better detail than Escher's was in that weird drawing of hands drawing eachother .... and who cares anyway! for GCSE and A Level art you have to look at artists for 'influance' ect to get a good mark so leave the dude alone! jeez some peopel just HAVE to complain!

I have a question regarding permissions on this picture:
I got a class assignment to bring in a drawing of a hand, we're learning to draw human hands.
I was wondering I can print this picture in the large form given in the preview just to show the class. Do you mind?

Thanks,
Yea I had to ask since there's so many people stealing work on deviant art I'm always careful when using other peoples work.

Hey, leave em alone. I think he is better than Escher. Escher was a conceited fool who considered himself to be as good as Leonardo Da Vinci.

You had to have known people would ask you about the MC Escher drawing though.
It's amazing though, and really well thought out and laid out. Instant

I wouldn't pay any attention to the saps who say it "loses originality" because honestly, everything has already been done at one time or another, but not by YOU so in fact it is very original considering there is only one of you, and I thank you for drawing something from your point of view. It is truly brilliant and inspiring, to say the least.

May not be a rolemodel, but your piece still loses originality.
