Description
Update 24-12-20091. Due to the many irrelevant comments I'm disabling the comment feature for this work. Sorry folks.
2. Yes, this is the drawing that Shia LaBeouf has tattooed on his ribcage.
This drawing is about being a prisoner of your own actions and choices. It shows how I felt when I was going through a tough period in my life.
- graphite on Lana drawing paper
- photo reference (my own hand)
- about 12 hours
- 12" x 9"
Hope you like it.

Wow very realistically detailed! I like it but DO NOT agree with its views. A person can use art to set themselves free as well, to express their thoughts and feelings in creative ways.
Of course, they can also use art to show they are trapped or imprisoned, but they are still exercising freedom of expression in doing so.
In critique, the perspective is a little off. The ball and chain is too upright for the slanted view of the sketch paper. Good effort though. You understand the importance of detail.
