Hello again!I got the idea to do something Hogwarts-related right around the time Deathly Hallows part 2 came out. (And of course, Chidorii and I were there at the midnight showing, front and center ^_^)
More so, this was a birthday gift for Chidorii, who just turned 22 a few days ago.
As far as the picture goes, it did end up being perhaps a bit rushed. You can see the evidence in the shading, (or lack there of). I may go back and really clean this one up. (I have a bit of trouble with drawing clothes.. any tips are welcome!)
I'm still working out different styles of eyes and whatnot to see what I like best... I think I'm a fan of this the most.

This looks fantastic! You may say you were rushed, but you rendered a really excellent drawing here. You got the poses down perfectly here, and I love the way you drew yours and Chidorii's faces here.
I know you say you didn't really get the chance to shade much, but aside from that, I really think this is your best piece yet! I think the style in this piece is really solid. I know it's a neverending quest for an artist to come into their own style, but I think you've really hit on something golden here, because this picture really seems to come to life!
And yes, Takai and I were there opening night with a few of her younger cousins, three rows from the front. XD It was fantastic, it was really just how I imagined it!... Of course, I'd woken up at 5 that morning for work... And since it was a midnight show... I was having some consciousness issues by the end of it... XD
Anyhow! In summation: This picture rocks, so do you, I hope we see more like it too. ^_^

Yeah we definitely were front and center ^_^; thank goodness those seats moved or I'm sure our necks would still be sore
