DescriptionOnce again protesting that you can't use ! in descriptions. I noticed a couple other images like this that describe the history of a Fursona. I remember everyone "omg you're changing shin again" so I decided it'd be cool to see a timeline of his changes. I didn't include concept sketches, I really just wanted to include the OFFICIAL reference sheet updates for him.Related content

its really cool to see shins evolution :3 i still like his last design best and his wings. and i wish i could draw even halfway as good as you can haha. i was busy checking around your gallery and came upon this. still hes definetly the cutest dragon chara ive seen great job with him

I think Feb '08 Shin is my favorite. Of course, they're all gorgeous. Kudos to loving a character enough to revive him over and over.

He really has changed a lot. Lol. But he's still handsom! xD =3 He looks so fluffy in the second to the last one and his eyes were bright! =O and pretty. For some reason I can also picture him, not just as an Illusioner but a Shapeshifter. Able to shift into anything and anything into anything. Somewhere in that Illusion element, shapeshift seems to come in mind. *shrugs* just a thought. =3
He's still awesome, all the same!

I like that you didn't use sketches, it makes it more of an extreme, we aren't seeing subtle changes, (sometimes we are) but like the two lasts one are BAM! CHANGE! I love that.

Although I did like the purple/orange/cream sunset-y colours, I also like him as he is now

I'm always amazed at how much better good artists get over time. T_T I mean, it was hard for me to see how the August 2006 drawing could have been fundamentally improved, but then you did it! And, I guess it wasn't as impossible as I thought. XD But then I couldn't possibly see how the February 2008 drawing could be improved, so the April 2009 one just blew my mind! D8 And now we're at December 2009, and still it looks better, though in a different, less drastic sort of way. X3
I just can't comprehend that level of skill.
I like the current version, by the way! It's a good balance between what you started with and what it later evolved into. So, he doesn't have wings now, right?
