Ah, old memories.This right here is a sketch I did with a regular ol' ballpoint pen in a tiny little sketchbook I carried around in my BDUs in Basic Training. I didn't have a WHOLE lot of time to draw, and oftentimes I had to be sneaky about it... but draw I did. I lost a good deal of the sketchbook, and it still makes me sad... lost it in the flood back in April '07... depressing day, lost a lot of BCT stuff... art, journals, letters...
But this survived.
Grim Reaper for life... and all that jazz.

they were. when i met her she had many sketchbooks that were full of beautiful sketches. she has 2 or 3 in her gallery that she drew while in SC. I'm not sure where i put the one she left behind...

That's funny in Basic Training they teach you to be sneaky a little and then get mad when you use it against them. Cool drawing and I dig the signature.

Oh I don't know, I had a whole squad hide from a drill sergeant in the woods once to "attack" when the rest of the platoon came by (which we were told to do, but I had us change position from where he told us to be) and at the end of the "attack" he was like "... third squad, stand up" and when we did he was like, "wow, I had no idea where you guys were. Good job"

Oh wow, didnt realize you were in the AF. What's your job and when again did you join if you dont mind me asking? Yeah I remember drawing in BMT and hiding my drawings on me at all times. Everything in our lockers (security drawer included) got checked a couple of times so keeping it on me during the day was the only option really. What was your BMT squadron and what tech school base did you go to?

for something you didnt have alot of time to do you put alot of detail in the hair itz quiet amazing...i couldnt be quick like that...must be extremely talented! i Love your dark style in this.
