Description
I decided that doing all the character pages consecutively was boring the crap out of me so now they'll be showing up randomly and Head Trip will resume as normal in the meantime.Oh and I'm trying my hand out at putting more backgrounds in.

Now, Lillian, you should know better.
You're supposed to kick them in the groin. That way nothing immediately obvious gets broken and - with a little luck - you can remove his stupidity from the gene pool.

Is life on American highschools really like that? Like it is always shown in movies and series?

I guess it depends where you go to school. My high school was an art school and we had no "popular" kids or sports. There was no pressure to be anything over than a good student and a decent artist.

An art school. If words would taste that one might be delicious.

Well, we did at first, but that school was extremely demanding and while many of us were glad to be free of the typical challeneges of American high school, it came at a price. For some, the time there was well-spent, for others, they hated every second of it and left as soon as possible.

What was it like for you?
"[...] it came at a price." An art school teaching dark arts. I should sleep on that phrase before I write it...

Going to that school was a mixed bag for me.
Good Stuff: I learned humbility. Before I went there, I was a bit of an artisitc and academic hotshot. I was getting great grades without putting much effort into them, I was the best musician in my band, and boy was I cocky. When I went to the art achool, I was put in my place on the first day. I was no longer the smartest in all my classes or the best in music. I was nothing special and if I wanted to be at a high level, not only would I have to work my ass off, but I would also have to compete with others who were well above my level. I watched other students come in with the same cocky attitude I did, and I learned that I will never be the smartest, the most talented, the greatest, or the best. It's a competative world out there and while I should strive to try my hardest, I should never let myself be carried away with my accomplishments.
I recieved a lot of academic preparation for university. Not going to lie, the classes there were tough. People would walk through the art school doors and realize that they actually had to EARN their grades, not sit around and giggle through class. A lot of people who flunked out of that school wound up earning great marks at other high schools. Along with tough classes, just about everyone (not just the third and fourth year students), whether that were ready or not, were put into college-level courses. I took nine college courses managed to get twelve credits, thus saving me literally thousands of dollars and quite possibly a semester of university. Other students weren't so lucky, but a lot of them say how laughably easy university is in comparison to their high school classes.
Greatly broadened my view and appreciation of the arts. I learned advanced music theory, advanced art history, creative writing techniques, and all that artsy fun stuff. I learned how to give proper critiques and recieve critiques. Art is not an overnight process and even if the artist is improvising on the spot, like say doing a speed painting from their mind or a Jazz solo, their skills are earned after years upon years of discipline, love, passion, and masochism.
There was zero pressure to be the most "popular". No one gave a shit if someone was friends with everyone in the world. We had better things to do than loathe and be loathed by others... unless that person had amazing academic and artisitic talent, but even then, the talented one was usually humble and kind enough to help the less fortunate.
No sports. I personally don't like sports in the slightest (the Olympics and Fifa Football Cup are so boring!), but I feel that it becomes too much of a distraction for others. Since we weren't exactly caught up in beating the other school at sports or having the best American Football team, we focused on what we were supposed to do.
Bad Stuff: Highly time-cnsuming environment. The art school just ate up so much time. I usually come home at 17:00 or 18:00 when class was dismissed at 15:45. I sometimes came home at 21:00 or 22:00 because of artisitic obligations. I remember once going home at 2:00. Then I had three or more hours of homework to do.
I was so tired.
Some teachers had zero sympathy for students and assigned A LOT of homework. I once came home with (I kid ye not) forty-seven pages of homework. Usually I would come home with like fifteen or more. Throw in all that homework with all the artisitc activities we had to do.
I remember one day I was assigned a lot of homework and had a particularly time-comsuming music thing to do. I didn't do my homework and received three or four zeroes for work I just didn't have the energy or time to do. Do you think that teacher cared? Nope. After that, I just cheated for that dick's class.
Not the best thing in the world to do but I already had a great grasp of the subject material so copying didn't really hurt me mcuh.
Overall stress. I developed stree-induced depression, chronic diarrhea, constant asthma issues, and had a painfully high pulse rate because of everything I had to do.
Still, despite all the stress, I think giong to that school was worth it. Before I went to that school, I did things I didn't necessarily like just to fit in, but during my stay at the art school, I learned to be myself and be strong about it. It really helped me grow.

That's quite an achievement. oO

This is what every girl feels like when guys take up too much of our personal space and they hit on us as if we're just gonna fall on our knees begging for guys like him to date us or simply they're doing it for the fame or stuff. I'm just so lucky we don't have people like these in school. Life is a pain when you have 'those' around. I'm glad you see through the eyes of every girl in the world who feels this way.

Reminds me of beating the crap out of some soccer player when I was in middle school. He wasn't hitting on me but it was practically the same situation.
Had to look over my shoulder for a couple of weeks, but was totally worth it.

*evil chuckle* she should have broken more than his nose. Though she should have given him fair warning something like this: 'If I tell you something is going to get broke if you keep talking to me will you go away?' That probably wouldn't work but hey you never know.
