This really happened.In my defense, we were ALL bantering back and forth with the waiter that night and I wasn't being mean-spirited, just joking around with him.
I think I won that night.
(And for the curious, because I know it'll be asked... yes, I do use a wheelchair and cane both depending on the situation/day. My cane's name is Kaywinnit

Yeah training started things and a lot of borderline abuse at the "rehab" company made it worse. Long and frustrating story. I might get it all down on paper someday but I've not yet been ready to relive it.

My dad has like six or seven different canes
He uses like two of them though, and I have one to use when we're out an about a lot.
This two main ones I have named McPimp Star and Marcus
The one I always use I named Lupus because I like randomly quoting house when I use the cane.

Alright, This is not my DA, just a friend's, but i'm too lazy to switch. My name's Mellomailbox, and I had to use a cane all throughout my sophomore year, and I swear on my life that I put at least fifteen people through this scenario. XD I was an evil little brat about it, and even turned one of my mean teachers into my bitch at one point. Well, not really... but damn close. I basically had free reign about the school because people would think I was trying to make a fashion statement or something, and then feel like jackasses and leave me alone when I really did cause trouble.
By the way, my Cane's name is Gertrude. She's leopard print.

reminds me of a funny story i have this chessy Halloween pumpkin pin and i wear it every year my grandma made it and it was her till she passed and left it and a bunch of other things to me. Well my best friend made a snide remark about how chessy it was and i said "It was my grandam's she made it and i got it when she died" shut her up for the rest of the day.
