This really happened.In my defense, we were ALL bantering back and forth with the waiter that night and I wasn't being mean-spirited, just joking around with him.
I think I won that night.
(And for the curious, because I know it'll be asked... yes, I do use a wheelchair and cane both depending on the situation/day. My cane's name is Kaywinnit

I miss my cane sometimes. That sounds so messed up, but I do. It was oak with a carved dragon's head for a handle.
After I stopped using it, it was accidentally dropped and the head shattered. I took that as a sign that it was time to let it go completely, and move onward.
Still, I'd love to have a cane like Lucius Malfoy's, though I'd probably replace the wand with a blade. Cobra head with fangs... gotta love that.
