Description
This really happened.In my defense, we were ALL bantering back and forth with the waiter that night and I wasn't being mean-spirited, just joking around with him.
I think I won that night.
(And for the curious, because I know it'll be asked... yes, I do use a wheelchair and cane both depending on the situation/day. My cane's name is Kaywinnit

Y'know I have a friend who needs a wheelchair.. but half the time I swear she doesn't need it..she can get to differant places at our mutual friends house quicker than I can! Me and owner of said home think she's got a secret trapdoor passage way to anywhere.. she really is a Ninja O_O

Ah, I love making people feel awkward. I'm on birth control because I have endometriosis, and once at work some guy was talking about how all girls on birth control are just sluts who want consequence-free sex. In passing I just said dryly, "Hm. I take birth control," and walked away. He was a lot nicer than usual to me the rest of the day.

Nice. My best friend is blind, on kidney dialysis and has degenerative neuropathy in both legs; he gets off on doing the same thing to waiters and, to be honest, just about everybody. I remember a fun time at a Sprint kiosk trying to buy him a phone and , after telling the stupid thing behind the counter that he was blind, has to further explain why the shiny new phone with the flush set buttons is useless to him because he needs to be able to FEEL them to use it. She then mumbled something about it having a camera. If he could have, he would have probably bitten out her throat.

You and I need to go to a restaurant when you get here. I can order something without bread, and then tell them I have a disease when they ask why. And if someone asks about your cane, you can tell them you're crippled... making people severely uncomfortable one restaurant at a time... good times...
