YAY!! Equal time for Brody!! Seems like I've seen a plethera of Angela with Brooklyn lately; this is a nice change (return?). I don't know why you were beating yourself up about this; I think it's well done. It goes great as an 'after' drawing if you put it in order behind your picture of him surprising her with dinner and the drawing of their enjoying themselves together after eating.
