many thanks for this... I have to admit I have nightmares of falling pianos because of that melted-finger thing I use in 99% of my drawings. Hands always gave me the creeps.

I SO need to learn how to draw hands the proper way and you my dear have just saved my life. This is a FANTASTIC tutorial, thank you so much for putting this together and showing how to draw these buggers. Hands really are the bane of my artistic existence. My drawings are fairly decent with the anatomy, but then I get to the hands... and they are always off and the whole thing looks wrong. *grumble*
So yeah Hands... and foreshortening.... you should do that next.
