Good tutorial, dude. The only thing I would've added was the idea that mens' fingers tend to look more squarish (like most of those in this tutorial) while ladies' hands tend to be a little more tapered.
Other than that, I have no doubt that most learning artists will really find this useful.

'Mitten' hands aren't as silyy as they sound; I frequently put on a (leather) glove on one hand and draw with the other. Somehow I find it easier to analyse the anatomy of a hand when it's gloved.
Also, start with female hands, for they have straighter lines. Start drawning open palms too and then move the wrists and each finger a little more with each drawning, untill you get it right.

What if I want to draw a woman's hands?

The best way to figure it out is to ref it, but in general I'd make the tips of the fingers more tapered (to account for something like manicured nails), the fingers thinner, and to make the palm of the hand more oval and less boxy. Men tend to have a strong thumb region but for women its a bit more streamlined. A good place to ref woman hands is like those annoying checkout mags with all the tips on nail polish or whatever...
