Caline , for *ox-of-ice .She goes so wonderfully next to Ecume on the shelf that it's hard to imagine I'd considered giving up and not making her. Perseverence (and a wonderful roomie ) won out and here she is, at last! I hope you like her!
I don't really have a 'details' shot like Ox does for her beautiful, beautiful artwork, but here's (most of) the workstuffs used to create her!

Yeah I totally ruined the first attempt at this *sigh* I'm going to scrap the first try. Peep bought me a new base pony, one with white hair and I started over. I would have just dropped it because I couldn't get the white hair, but she came through! *
Now the real question is... what next... *grin*

That's a really friggen good custom! Now I wanna put piccies of my one custom up. In fact it makes me want to do MORE customs! Thank you for inspiration! What sort of paint did you use? That's something I'm still trying to figure out for doing customs.

I used (for the most part) acrylics. The main sort I use is a brand named "Liquitex" and the variety from Liquitex is "Basics". For the shines I add in "Lumiere" acrylics mixed in (they have some really nice 'hi-lite' paints but they're kind of expensive). Also there is my ever-handy glow in the dark fabric paint which, if mixed properly with your paints, can make your critters glow. Good luck, and let me know if you get those mods posted; I'd love to take a look!

I LOVE the sheen this has, her coat looks almost pearly, in the first pic especially! And the mane and tail came out wonderfully

What did you use for the horn? I can't tell... from what I see it looks like it's just part of the original MLP

XD I stared at the hooves in the pic of her standing by the ocean until my eyes bled trying to match those colors so you have no idea how happy it makes me to know I did!
I mixed gold paint into the original color mix (before I white-brushed the 'fur' over it) but it didn't show up enough so I thinned down pure gold so I had like... gold water... and then brushed it all over her. So her colors really WILL shine when you get her. The first time I tried (with a different pony) it didn't do that and I was disappointed. I'm glad I had to start over, because this one came out 8millionx better than that one was.
*rolls* I borrowed (and by borrowed I mean permanently stole) some of Peep's no-bake clay. It got really dry and crackly while I was trying to shape it, so I had to quick grab the closest hold-together stuff i could find and it happened to be my glow-in-the-dark paint *facepalm* So uh... her horn glows in the dark just a little bit.. ^.^;; I didn't want to just glue it on because I didn't want it to look... well, glued on. So I bored a hole in the base while I was molding and put the glue in there so you can't see glue around the edges of it. It's not seamless, but it's dark close for what I had.
I don't mind at all if you'd like to put her in your journal!

Naaahh the hooves were fun. All of her was fun, really!
^.^;; It doesn't glow a LOT in the dark, since it got painted over, but yeah. Just a heads up in case you ever seen a tiny, faintly glowing horn by Ecume's brightly glowing patterns... it's her.
