Nope, Mindwipe is a Stealth plane this time and can have a scout (Ratbats base figure) attach to it.

Hm, you know, in this mode... it kind of reminds me of Ferak, from the comics.
Very intimidating in this color scheme... excellent choice and application of paints.

What brand of paints do you use?

I use a lot of different paints.
Krylon, Citadel, Reaper, Vallejo, Wal Mart, Folk Arts, and sometimes the ever so hated by me Testors!
Most of the time it depends on what results I'm going for and the subject I'm painting situation.

Any recommendations for a beginner? I'm especially looking for something that'll go on smoothly on the TF Animated toys....

Since its animated I'd say start with a coat of flat grey or white primer. Having a light, neutral base with make the next coat look bright and alive.
Also be sure to use multiple thin coat and dont try to do full coverage in one go. If your paint seems thick use a little water to thin it down. It may take awhile but doing this will give you a nice even look to all your paint.
