Thank you for the link, I haven't seen that one. Yeah, they kinda give a similar vibe, though I think Kertesz's is more eerie with all those distorted look of the body caused by the ripple of the water surface.

It's interesting how soft and smooth the person in the left of this image is, how calm the water is... and how I can just imagine the splash the person on the right made right after this shot was taken.
The grain, the tones, everything works beautifully together.

Haha, the person on the right actually did make quite a big splash. I don't know much about swimming techniques, but it would seem that he didn't do exactly the correct way of jumping.
