I'd love to know how much time was actually spent on the water? It's obviously the one thing that really helps this piece stand out and the one thing that everyone are really having trouble with. I think the water explanation in the tutorial doesn't do the final piece any justice...
PS How is this not a DD yet???

It was honestly just a few hours to do the whole picture, it took longer to write up than do. Maybe 4/5 ?

Does anyone have links to the stock water splashes used? I tried to grab one off of istock that had a white background and the water was blueish it turned out like crap using the tutorial method for extraction, nothing like that was showin in the tutorial.

thats great. I dont quite get how to use those color channels in order to make the water be transparent. are there any tuts for it out there? would be highly appreciated.
