A collaboration with , he provided this render: [link] and although I thought it would be easy to add a bit of fancy lighting and typo and produce an accomplished picture, I decided to try some new techniques out in Photoshop and transform it into something different. I had trouble deciding whether to have them shooting up out of the water or diving into it, but I think this worked best in the end. A tutorial for this will appear at some point.Stocks:

Going on brohiem, just wondering if you had put out a tutorial for the water splash yet. If not just wondering if you are going to put one out sooner or later.

I was actually going to do a tutorial for the main shapes rather than the water splash, although it'll be quite a while before I have time... the water effects was mostly brushing with some stock photo use right at the top.

Those creatures seems a lot like Alien and stuff from that insane designer i canΒ΄t recall the name...
I like the diving, swimming effect a lot, I love to swim, and it seems theyΒ΄re going all way until they reach the botton...

I think you mean H.R. Giger, and I am a big fan of his work as it happens... I wasn't really thinking of him at all when I made this though, I feel his work definately has a sinister edge whereas this is just neutral.

I think he his kinda apocalyptical, dark [sinister] , porno-erotic, etc...
I admire his works but I think theyΒ΄re too sinister to hang on my house...
