Description
A collaboration with , he provided this render: [link] and although I thought it would be easy to add a bit of fancy lighting and typo and produce an accomplished picture, I decided to try some new techniques out in Photoshop and transform it into something different. I had trouble deciding whether to have them shooting up out of the water or diving into it, but I think this worked best in the end. A tutorial for this will appear at some point.Stocks:

Um, I happened to see this while looking over DA prints, and I do not remember you asking permission to print an item with our stock in it. Would you note the resurgere account and explain ? Seems like a breach of our commercial use guideline...

Oh yes, I forget about all the legal guff sometimes, I'll probably just open up the .psd later and pull the relevant layers out. Luckily they only affect the top 300 pixels or so.

very nice! this is very different than your more recent psychedelic verve, birds, etc... it is much darker, but very very shiny too! i realy like it. esp the spines and the clockwork! i also like the way the ocean is getting darker the ferther the "creature" is toward the bottom! excelent!

Damn, that's a sweet picture. Reminds me of the movie Aliens with their tails and big heads. I love the light and dark contrast of this image on the background. The lighting on the render is awesome too.

I can say that i'm most fond of how this creature/render dives into the water, its all greatlly detailed, especially near the top. You two represented water really well in here and all the effects combined make it an most appealing artwork. Only thing i can really complain about are those few lines in the upper right section, i don't know if they should appear as lightrays, if so then you should work them out some more, if not just get rid of em so this image is flawless : ). Anyway thx for showing off this nicely executed picture, kudo's to both of you.

Lovely work here, the execution of the concept is great, i'm not to keen on the lighting on some areas of the render, seems bit overdone but overrall very nice work from both of you.

This is awesome, I love the repetition as this piece goes down, but with that repetition comes some change too.
