L, his brother Mello, and Mello's wife(?) Matt were enjoying a simple morning at home. Near, L's son, had just gone off to school, and L had just invited over Light, their across-the-street neighbor, because the two of them were beginning to get rather close.

Suddenly, this quiet morning was interrupted by the sudden appearance of a new appliance. A microwave had materialized out of nowhere, as though the Hand of Fate had placed it there. Perplexed, the three men went to examine it. Hungry, L decided to try the new microwave.

"Duf glub melushka," L said, as Mello and Matt nodded in agreement.

However, upon placing the Toaster Pastry (r) in the microwave, what should happen but the microwave burst into flames?!

Oh no!

Done reeeeeaaaaaalllyyyyy early this morning. Like... 4 AM after I finished studying early. L-Sim saw the new microwave (and I'm telling you, I -just bought it- because I forgot to give them one when I was building the house and wanted them to stop cooking microwavable stuff in the oven lest they SET SOMETHING ON FIRE) and decided to try it.

And it promptly proved how combustible microwaves are.

Matt-Sim's in his underwear for unfathomable reasons. And if you look closely, you'll see little Light-Sim coming up to the door, unbeknownst to what is going on in the Lawliet household. I should have taken this about a split second later, though, because Mello-Sim started dancing in circles and screaming.

Good thing Near-Sim was at school.

On a closing note, did it ever annoy you when you played the Sims and they set something on fire that you had to click the balloon to make them -stop- panicking so they would take a fire extinguisher to the damn fire?! As you think about that, I'm off to class.
