Description
Verbing weirds language. One of the greatest Calvin and Hobbes quotes of all time, in my opinion.
This came up in a conversation and I just... I had to make a stamp. And that pic of Calvin comes from the actual comic strip the quote is from, so it's legit! *Flails*
Calvin and Hobbes belong to Bill Watterson, not me. Dangit.

trufax XD and what's cool about that is that Calvin said it before the internet; before Googleing and YouTubeing HE CALLED IT!

I love Calvin and Hobbes! I've read those ever since I was little. That is one of the awesomest quotes. I also love the one where Calvin (writing from memory
) proposes to Mrs. Wormwood that they go out and play, leaving math to the machines.

Calvin and Hobbes is one of my favorite comic strips xD I love the one where they first make the club and Calvin is talking to Susie about it, and he tells her that "G.R.O.S.S." stands for 'Get Rid Of Slimy girlS'.
Susie: Slimy girls?!
Calvin: I know it's redundant, but otherwise it doesn't spell anything. Now go away.
But I couldn't fit that on a stamp, so I went with the 'verbing weirds language' quote xD;;
And thanks for the fav, too ^^

Oh, that's a great one. Do you remember the one where Hobbes won't let Calvin into their treehouse unless he sings the multiple verse password?
"Verse 7:
somethingsomething
something...the epitome
of grace and quiet dignity..."
Or something along those lines, all in praise of tigers.

"I was going to ask you to come over and play house, but I think you'd be a weird influence on our children."
Calvin and Hobbes is one of the greatest things that ever graced the comics page xD

It's true, he probably would be. I love it when the first panels will be in a realistic style, and then at the end it shows that Calvin and Susie have been playing house, doctor, etc.
And then there's this classic:
"It's hard to be religious when certain people are never incinerated by bolts of lightning."

"Getting an inch of snow is like winning ten cents in the lottery."
He could have made a fortune cookie company.

Oh, I -adore- Calvin and Hobbes. I've been reading that comic strip (along with the two other great strips of the 80's, The Far Side and Bloom County) since I was a little kid I'm 18, and yeah, hardly anyone's heard of Calvin and Hobbes in our age group ._.
Thanks for the , too ^^

Yep! As far as which book... I don't remember. They all start to run together eventually. It might have been 'Scientific Progress Goes 'Boink'', though.
