Day 7 - Favourite female OC: Irika ThakurWell, that is...unsuspected, isn't it? XD
Irika is the 'mysterious woman' in 'Westwind' - at least this is what I like to call her. She will however only have brief appearances but she will later get a bigger role in the prequel.
I just really like her as a character, though I have to say that choosing my favourite female OC was a difficult decision. I can't really tell you much about Irika here, 'cause I wanna keep stuff secret. But let me just say, she has an interesting character trait, which she isn't really aware of herself and I think a lot of people can relate to her in that point.
You will see one day what this is all about. :3The pose was frustrating! I had to start over and over again to get something that's somewhat right.
The flower in her hand is supposed to be a lotus flower. I just can't resist some flower symbolism. XD

Ohh, I wasn't expecting her as your favorite female character. o0o
I know I've seen her in WestWind but you are right when you say she's mysterious! But she's really pretty and I just LOVE the lotus flower~ I really love flower symbolism too and I always try to look up the meaning of flowers before I incorporate them. But the lotus here is so fitting for her character and I really love the way she's posed too~
She looks so sweet!
I also can't wait to see more of her in your story!

Hm, yeah. So far she has appeared in deleted scenes. And she will have a few scenes in the main story. But we'll not getting to know much about her until the prequel. -.-
I'm doing this flower thing way to often. >w< But it's so cool! The lotus flower is a symbol for purity, grace and beauty, which fits Irika very well.^^

I'm starting to give all of my main characters a flower as a symbol. That's what I've got so far:
Kaede - Red rose
Irika - Lotus flower
Maria - Lavender
Oscar - Thistle
Raelyn - Dandelion
I don't know why but I just love symbolism like this.

It is, that's why I chose the thistle. The flower also has leaves with prickles and I think that fits to Oscar's personality, because he uses his temper ans grumpiness to protect his pride and hide his fears. Like the flower protects itself from predators.
I'm inspiring you a lot recently...
